BANGKOK DAY 1

For those are planning to go to Bangkok, I hope this post helps! :) It's only about day 1 of our trip, I'll post on the other days when I'm free! Went for a 5D4N trip with the hairy boy! And I believe this trip strengthened our relationship too. :) Had little silly arguments there but so glad we still made it in the end. :)

Okay. We headed to our hotel right after we landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 12 noon. Took the airport express right up to Phaya Thai, where our hotel is situated! We stayed in Bangkok City Hotel (the link is below!) by the way! Checked in, nua-ed a bit and washed up before before taking the Bangkok Mass Transit(BTS) down 20mins to Chatuchak at Mo Chit station. We avoided taking taxi/ tuk tuk as we heard scary kidnapping stories about them. One of my friend's friend's female friend got abducted by a taxi driver and has yet to be found. It's been alr 1 month and she's only 20+ years old from SIM too!! =X

Alighted and followed the crowd who were all heading to chatuchak. Surprisingly we saw alot of Singaporeans there. There were alot of roadside stores selling yummy food!! We ate like crazy, we ate every moment I'm not kidding. We couldn't find much ladies clothing in Chatuchak, perhaps we didn't go to the correct lane. :((( But bf bought alot of clothes though. Guys clothes ranged from only 250-350 baht($10-$14) for shirts and berms. Ladies clothes ranged from 200-300baht($8-$12). I wouldn't really reccommand going there actually because it's really hot and stuffy (totally destroyed the mood to shop). Also, most shops sell 2nd hand stuff which we don't fancy. It opens at 8am and closes ard 6pm so do go down early! :D Oh and also, it only operates in the weekends so plan properly ok! :D

After Chatuchak, we decided to go to the night market opposite. I have no idea what was the place called cause it was an impromto decision and the store owners recommanded us to go there. The clothes there are way cheaper! $4-$6 for a top/dress! #gianpeng But it started raining heavy on our way there and most of the shops were only setting up after the rain subsided when we reached so i guess we missed out quite a bit. Took shelter with other locals under an overhead bridge. We were so pathetic I swear. The rain was sudden! No warning. :(

Bangkok Day 5

Our air ticket! :D

Mac breakfast for us at 6am! :)

Reached Bangkok! :D

On the express train to our hotel! It costs only 90baht each! ($3.60)
Considering the fact that taxi fare will be ard $40.

The huge train station.

Our hotel! :D

Our room!! Facilities are quite good and new as it just opened in dec last year.

Waiting for BTS to Mo Chit (where chatuchak is).

Overview of ctc! Not tall enough to take the whole view. :(

Ovatine to quench our thirst! $1.80 only!

Our lunch. Tomyum soup with rice. It's at a tiny roadside store.
Very crowded but it's quite yummy!

Bought snackes again! Frozen banana covered in hot fudge plus peanuts.
This is damn awesome. I had it twice!

Bought coconut drink! Hahaha.

Ukuleles!! :D It looked sooo cute I feel like buying
one for myself but idk how to play it. :(

Hairy boy playing with himself?? :X

NOT! He was trying to unbutton his pants to try on new berms!. Hahaha.

Milk tea next!! We were constantly stuffing ourselves with food
because it's so cheap and good! Hees.

In the crowded streets of ctc.

Just look at the guys shoes! Can salivate man! Hahaha. All ard 600baht ($24)??

Another round of frozen banana with hot fudge and peanuts. SLURPS.

Waiting to get our pictures drawn!

Still waitingggggggg.........

Ok done! But we don't look like the cartoon at all. :(
Hairy boy's nose is too small and my mouth shape is not like that.
Kinda disappointed but oh wells, all for the experience.
And effort??

Hiding under a bridge because it was pouring outside. :X

Perhaps this is the 'so called' flood that has been rumoured around?
Water level was up till 1/4 of the wheel, but that was only during the rain.
It subsided quickly after that.

Snacks at the restaurant in the night market.

The night market!

Rings for only 80cents?!?! No wonder Singapore can afford to sell those rings at 3 for $5.

We didn't eat much dinner so we ordered the hotel food! It was only $3 each? Hahaha.
We expected hotel food to be pricey. Can of coke was 40cents.

Slept right after dinner. U can't imagine how tired we were after working for 4 days straight
and then head down to BKK with only 2hrs of sleep. Concussed.
