BANGKOK DAY 2
It's Day 2 at Bangkok with my love! We woke up horrendously late - at 2pm! Hahaha. Missed our breakfast. :( Was too tired. Didn't manage to take much photos because we shopped the whole day! Hahaha. I didn't know how we manage to gather the energy to move. Plus we walked to Platinum Mall from our hotel. It's roughly 700m, a straight road down. Stayed there throughout before going for dinner at Somboondee Seafood Restaurant. Did some shopping at pratunam's night market, before going for Thai Massage nearby too. Pratunam night market is a pretty small market (smaller than Pratunam day market, which I'll talk about in day 3's post).
Anyway Platinum mall has 6 levels, and there are 2 buildings - 1 old, and 1 new. We only managed to walk through a part of level 4 (the so called 'men's level'), but there're ladies clothing too. The shops closed very early - ard 6.30pm, when supposedly, the mall is to close only at 8pm. I doubt 5 days are enough to finish combing the place. =X
Also, I stated that we ate at Somboondee Seafood just now right? I want to rant about the horrid and pricey seafood there! :( We heard that Somboon Seafood was good, so we asked the cab driver to send us there(near our hotel). The driver took us to freaking somboonDEE instead of SOMBOON????? !@#$%^&*&^$@% Jared and I happily took photos of the place and the fishes, only to find out the next day that we were brought to the wrong place!!! The food was not only bad, it was damn pricey too! It's about $35 each? It's not even that expensive in Singapore lah! But we thought that since it's a reknowned restaurant, the price would be high. Little did we know, it was an imitation! We got cheated damn badly, right smack on our faces. :( Somboon Seafood is something like Jumbo Seafood or No signboard Seafood in Singapore. SOOOO SUAYYYYY.
Talking about it pisses me off. Hairy boy says SOMBOONDEE is a vulgarity from now on. THUMBS UP. Okay pictures time.

On the way to Platinum! :D
Bought 'Yakult' from 7-11! 400ml only for 80cents? Hahaha.
Platinum! This was taken from the overhead bridge.
Stopped by for some tasty cup corn for only 80cents too. $_$
Authentic Pad Thai from Platinum's food court! Super yummy!!
Cute camera casings for your camera. A pity it couldn't fit my G12. :(
Even Ronald Macdonald was showing the Sawadeekap sign! Sho cute!
Somboondee the imitation! We saw the spelling of the word before going in
but both of us didnt suspect anything because we thought it might
be a different way of how the Thai people spell Somboon. :'''(((
The place.
Look they even have prawns and lobsters! They look expensive right? :(
The huge lobster.
I feel so miserable posting these photos up and talking about it. :(
The waitress who were crazy over my loots.
That's me smiling happily to the camera, oblivious to the fact that we're gonna get cheated.
Hairy boy smiling happily too.
Pineapple rice. Looks good, looks classy, looks unique. Tasted normal.
The steamed fish and Kangkong were worse.
Nothing spectacular abt it.
Another happy face.
Food aside! This is the place we did the Thai Massage! :D
Issey Massage Center. $8 for 1 hr of Thai Massage! :) Sounds good??
But at the end of the massage, the girls asked us to tip them each $4.
So the massage was $12 each in all. =.=
Their skills were good though, so we don't mind paying the little extra. :)
Foot massage corner.
Full body massage corner.
Changed! But we were massaged in separate rooms.
Took a photo with our massage therapists afterthat. Notice the girl closer to hairy boy?
Notice that she was trying to lean towards him even though her friend was trying to pull her away?
Hilarious max! Hahahaha.
And she succeeded! She's happily leaning on him alr.
Her friend couldn't be bothered to pull her back.
Damn funny! HAHAHAHA.
My thoughtful boy brought us Pei Pa Koa in case we ate too much heaty food.
Hahaha. He brought like 2 boxes of 4! :))
