AUSTRALIA IN 7 DAYS! ^^
HELLO FOLKS! IM BACK FRM AUSTRALIA! :DD
I am uploading the aus photos into my laptop now. Took 513 photos in 7 days! Well it aint exactly alot actually. 73.3 photos per day only. Hehehehe. Wanted to share the photos with u guys but Idk for what reason, the laptop is taking forever to copy the photos into my folder. So while waiting, I'll just write up my post first! :)
The family went to Melbourne, Gold Coast, and dropped by Brisbane on the last day!! 3 states in 7 days. Quite an achievement huh. Heh. But i felt the whole trip was kinda rushed, plus australia is dead after 5pm, plus plus, she's 2 hrs ahead of spore. So i slept at 10pm spore time every day. Haha so awkward. Anyway, i'll just list out the activities i did there ok. :)
Day 1. We reached Melbourne and I went to The Sunday Market Victorian Arts Centre with my family! It like a mini night market there (in the day). Expored the city a bit and bro and I met Poi and Jamie to club at the Bass Lounge. Pre-drank a little at Poi's place and my bro was really a funny sight! Didn't know that he's actually such an entertainer. LOL. My boots broke in the middle of the dance floor so bro and I had to leave. We walked back to the hotel with my half boots that night. Hahaha.
Day 2. Met Jolene and she was such a dear! She brought my family for lunch at QV and sight seeing before splitting up to go shopping at Southgate and the CBD with me! Took lots of picures of the city! :) Met up again with the family again for an Italian dinner at Lygon street. That street is very well-known for it's italian/ mexican/ french/ german food! It was an extremely fulfiling day! ^^
Day 3. The family decided to go Skiing at Mt Buller, which is located in melbourne. It was like a very last min decision so we bought a Ski package form the tour agency there. We sort of got scammed by the aussies as we paid about Aus1200 for the whole package?! And when we reached Mt Buller, we saw that the price to ski was only $98/pax?! We felt sooooo cheated lah! Sickening angmohs! Grrrr. And they also said that there will be snowfall there, but wasn't even snowing a bit when we reached!! So disappointing!!! :((( So we just tried to make the best out of it but only bro and I skied because the parents were afraid of falling So funny. Hee. It was my first time skiing and it felt soooooo good when the icy cold wind brushed against my face! If only we can ski in Singapore. It's 100000 more fun than ice skating! Can't wait to Ski again!!! :)
Day 4-6. Took a domestic flight to Gold Coast and we stayed at VIBE HOTEL at Surfers Paradise which was at the beachfront! How cool is that! Hee. And it wasn't as cold in Gold Coast as it is in melbourne. Bro and I spent 3 whole days playing at played at Dreamworld, White Water World and Movie World while the parents explored Gold Coast. The rides at the parks were frigging awesome, especially those in the white water world! Everything was perfect, except for the icy cold freezing water together with the chilly wind that kept blowing towards us. >< It would be good to go there on a hot sunny warm day! :) We went to Centro Surfers Paradise, Pacific Fair, and Harbour Town respectively after the parks! Harbour Town is good for street brands like billabong, ripcurl bla bla... It's their wholesale outlet!
Day 7. It was a whole day allocated for exploring the city and shop around! We took a shuttle bus to Carrara Market to shop for groceries!! It's only open during the weekends. Nothing much there actually. Lots of 2nd hand stuff. And we also managed to go to the DFO in Brisbane before heading back to Spore.
I really liked the weather there! It's below 10 degrees in the day and ard 5 degrees in the night. :) Also, it's like a tumblr over there. Everyone there wears pretty coats and boots. I wish I can wear them in Spore and not get stared at by random strangers like I'm some alien from outer space.
SINGAPORE NEEDS TO BE MORE OPEN TO FASHION.
Ok I'm still waiting for my photos to be uploaded. Arghhh so long! Anyways, I checked my account balance and realised i'm close to bankrupcy. I need moola. I need a job badly.
I've been spending and spending unknowingly without any income.:((
